Tablewide vs Confluence Cloud
Confluence is the most capable wiki most teams will ever use. If you mainly write and find docs, you may be paying for far more than you need, and paying more with every hire.

Confluence: Atlassian's list prices from October 13, 2026, billed monthly ($7.15 per user up to 100 users, $5.45 per user from 101 to 250). Annual plans cost somewhat less, and teams of up to 10 can use the free plan. Tablewide: monthly prices, before the founding discount. Both before tax.
Where Confluence is better
- Deep Jira integration, if your team lives in Jira Cloud.
- Thousands of Marketplace apps and macros.
- Real-time co-editing, whiteboards and databases.
- Enterprise compliance reports such as SOC 2, which we don't offer yet.
Where Tablewide is better
- One flat price for everyone in the company, with no free-plan limits to outgrow.
- A simpler structure (shelves, books, chapters, pages) that non-technical colleagues pick up quickly.
- Diagrams built in, with no extra per-user app.
- Open source underneath, so you can always export and run it yourself.
- We move your spaces for you, for free.
What changes when you move
- Pages, the page tree, attachments, images and internal links come across.
- Comments, page history, page permissions and original authors don't carry over, and blog posts aren't in Confluence's HTML export. We'll tell you what that means for your spaces before you switch.
- Some macros, such as Jira issue lists, become plain text or links.
