Hosted Docmost, without running it yourself
Docmost is a modern open source wiki with a page tree, live co-editing and a slash-menu editor that feels like Notion or Confluence Cloud. Tablewide runs it for you at one flat monthly price, with unlimited users.
What you get
- Docmost Community Edition, built by us from Docmost's public source code.
- Your team signs in with your company's Google or Microsoft account. There are no wiki passwords to manage.
- Updates tested and applied for you, with critical security fixes within 72 hours.
- Nightly backups kept for about 30 days with a separate storage provider in the same region, and restores tested every month.
- US hosting, with EU hosting on request.
- Your Confluence spaces moved in for you. Founding teams get the move free.
- Support is AI-assisted. The founder personally approves every price exception and any refund the terms don't already guarantee, and handles anything involving data deletion, privacy or security.
Plans start at $49 a month for everyone in your company. See pricing.
What we don't include
Docmost is open core. Some features are only in Docmost's paid Business and Enterprise editions, which we don't run. On Tablewide you won't have:
- Page-level permissions. Access is set per space.
- Single sign-on through SAML, OIDC or LDAP, and SCIM. Sign-in is through Google or Microsoft only, and two-step sign-in comes from your Google or Microsoft account.
- Docmost's AI features, templates, API keys and audit logs.
- Docmost's own Confluence importer. We use our own converter instead.
If you need those, Docmost sells Business and Enterprise licences that you install on your own servers. See Docmost's pricing.
Open source, and our changes too
Docmost Community Edition is licensed under the GNU AGPL, version 3. We change it slightly, mainly so that sign-in goes through your Google or Microsoft account, and we build it without Docmost's Enterprise Edition code. The AGPL asks us to offer our modified source to the people who use it. We publish the complete source of every build we run, with our patch and build scripts, for anyone to download: Tablewide's Docmost source.
Because it's open source, you can export your spaces as Markdown or HTML and run Docmost yourself, or with another host.
Price at 25 and 50 people
| People | Docmost Business | Tablewide Team |
|---|---|---|
| 25 | $150 a month + your server | $49 a month |
| 50 | $300 a month + your server | $49 a month |
Docmost Business is self-managed: you run it on your own server. $6 per seat a month billed annually, with a 10-seat minimum, from Docmost's pricing page on 3 October 2026. It includes features we don't offer, listed above. Docmost Community Edition is free if you host it yourself. Tablewide: monthly price before tax and before the founding discount.
Self-host Docmost if
- Someone on your team enjoys running servers. Docmost needs Node.js, PostgreSQL and Redis, plus your own backups and updates.
- Your wiki must live on your own network.
- You need Docmost's Business or Enterprise features.
Let us host it if
- You want Docmost's editor without owning the updates, backups and sign-in setup.
- You're leaving Confluence and want the move done for you.
- You'd rather pay one flat price than a price per person.
Already running Docmost yourself? Email [email protected] and we'll look at moving it before you commit to anything.
